MADVoters Verified Politicians

The "MADVoters Verified Politicians" (MVP) designation provides Indiana voters with

a clear, reliable, and vetted list of Statehouse candidates who demonstrably align with

progressive policy goals and who have a proven commitment to community engagement,

accountability, and transparency. Candidates who qualify for MVP designation will have a

special badge on their profile.

MVPs must score at least a 3.5 on our Voter Guide, proving that they are strongly aligned to progressive policy goals. Our team also conducts rigorous evaluations on the candidates to ensure that they are a person of integrity who is committed to building grassroots power in Indiana. 

Behind the scenes, MADVoters supports these candidates with additional training and promotional opportunities. The MVP program is not a PAC and does not provide any funding to candidates.

Only candidates for the Indiana House of Representatives and the Indiana Senate are eligible to be MVPs. Congressional, county, municipal, and other offices are not part of the MVP program.

If you are at Statehouse candidate, you can request to be considered for MVP Status by completing our candidate survey. MADVoters will continue to accept MVP requests through the summer.
