I would propose legislation that would hold private insurance corporations accountable for paying claims within 7 business days, restrict the conditions under which they could recoup monies from paid claims, and also ensure that legal fees providers incur as a result of delayed or denied claims are to be reimbursed by the insurance company.

Indiana should NOT be at the forefront of allowing data centers. States where data centers have built have experienced increased utility costs which only hurts residents.

Education: Since 2012, Indiana has spent over $5.5 billion in taxpayer dollars on charter schools and the private school voucher program. If elected, would you support or oppose the use of taxpayer dollars to funding private schools and charter schools? Why or why not? (Source: ICPE)
I am opposed to tax dollars being spent for private and charter schools. Our tax dollars should be supporting the public education system to improve it if it isn’t meeting adequate education standards. If families want to send their children to private schools, then they need to pay for that tuition, not the taxpayers.
Democracy: In your opinion, what is the biggest challenge or threat facing our democracy right now? If elected, what will you do to help overcome this challenge or threat?
The biggest threat to our democracy is money. Money needs to come out of politics because being an elected official, you are supposed to be a servant of the people not of super PACs, corporations, or your personal belief system.
Community: Describe your stance on ICE and its role in immigration enforcement and detention.
Community: What role or responsibility do local and state governments have with regards to immigration enforcement?
Local and state governments don’t have any responsibility when it comes to immigration enforcement. State and local governments responsibilities are to ensuring the safety and well being of its residents. State and local government shouldn’t interfere with federal agencies as long as they are operating lawfully and within the US and State Constitutions.
