My goal is healthcare for all Indiana citizens. Indiana has one of the worst health outcomes in the US. We need to change this.
Economics: AI and data centers are having a huge impact on jobs and communities across the nation, particularly in Indiana. What is Congress’s role in addressing this developing technology? What action will you take to hear and represent the concerns of Hoosiers on this topic?

I do not support data centers and propose a 5-year ban on new centers. This will allow time to study the long-term effects on the environment, health, economic benefits. Armed with factual data Indiana can then decide how to move forward. At this time, there is not enough positive information for data centers that would lead me to support future development.
Education: Describe your stance on the Department of Education and its role in education administration, funding, and protections for students with disabilities.
Education: Since 2012, Indiana has spent over $5.5 billion in taxpayer dollars on charter schools and the private school voucher program. If elected, would you support or oppose the use of taxpayer dollars to funding private schools and charter schools? Why or why not? (Source: ICPE)
I do not support private school vouchers. While I can see the benefits for some households, it appears that it does not benefit low-income families. To pull funding away from already struggling public schools does not make sense.
Democracy: In your opinion, what is the biggest challenge or threat facing our democracy right now? If elected, what will you do to help overcome this challenge or threat?
This is going to be a feeling response. :-D The biggest threat is big business/billionaires taking control of our government and using their dollars to shape policies to their benefits which does not align with the American people. I would support limiting campaign dollar that come from such sources.
Community: Describe your stance on ICE and its role in immigration enforcement and detention.
Community: What role or responsibility do local and state governments have with regards to immigration enforcement?
Locally and at the State, we need to help our neighbors by assisting their pathway to citizenship. Most immigrants fuel our economy and bring diversity/culture....and great food! I do not support ICE detention centers where non-criminal offenders are being detains. While entering the Country is a crime, we need to look at the person and their desperation where the decision to leave their home Country was the best option. Honestly, this is one area, that I do not know how to fix locally or at the State level. I know it is broken and would like to be a part of fixing it.
