WHAT IS MADVOTERS? MADVoters is a grassroots nonprofit founded in 2023 by Hoosiers, for Hoosiers. We seek to empower civic engagement and promote progressive policies through education, outreach, and advocacy.

 

WHAT DOES MADVOTERS DO? We educate Hoosiers on voting, legislation, elections, and civics so that they feel empowered to advocate for themselves at the ballot box and beyond:

WHAT ARE MADVOTERS' VALUES? We believe that every Hoosier deserves fairness, transparency, and accountability from their government. We advocate for affordable and accessible healthcare, fully funded public education, economic equity, democracy, and safe and inclusive communities. These form our 5 core values. HOW DOES MADVOTERS OPERATE? MADVoters is volunteer-powered. The Director of Advocacy, Director of Outreach, Director of Political Engagement, and Executive Director work with teams of volunteers to create all of MADVoters' content, tools, and resources, and attend events all across the state. Our Board oversees governance of the organization.

WHAT MAKES MADVOTERS DIFFERENT? We are not an arm of any political party, and we aren't part of a national organization. We're a team of volunteers who believes the principles we’re fighting for are good for every Hoosier - not just Republicans or Democrats.
